1. While holding down the Scene and Cycle buttons, turn the nanoKONTROL Studio on to set it to assignable mode.
2. Set up your application so that it can be controlled through the control change messages that are output by the nanoKONTROL Studio.
* Please refer to the operation manual of the application program for how to set these up.
The control change messages being transmitted can be edited by the KORG KONTROL Editor.

Not really enough info. I've tried all of these, looked in the manuals etc...tried to find videos from people as to how make this work with Pro Tools 12 with no luck. I'll try again. But I don't understand how Korg could have a plugin for Garage Band and Logic but not for Pro Tools, you really should. More clear and exacting direction on how to make this work would be great, I love the compact size and portability so I would really like to make this to function.
Thanks
Drew
I have the same problem as Andrew. Pro Tools 12.5 HD doesn't see the nanoKONTROL Studio at all. When I try to set it up as a HUI, a message comes up saying that it can't find it.
I'm considering returning the unit. If I can't get it to work, it's useless to me.
I finally got it to work.
1. While holding down the Scene and Cycle buttons on the nanoKONTROL Studio turn it on. It will flash a few times, then let go.
3. Launch the KORG KONTROL Editor, go into global settings, change for the DAW software to Pro Tools (drop down menu) press WRITE to write the info into the Kontrol, once that is done close the Editor, it will ask to save
LAUNCH PRO TOOLS
3. Click the Setup menu at the top of your screen.
4. Choose Peripherals.
5. Click on the MIDI Controllers tab.
6. Under Type, select the option HUI.
7. Under RECEIVE FROM, choose the nanoKontrol Studio controller (it should be in the list) Do the same for SEND TO.
8. Click OK when you’re done.
Should work...mine finally did in pro tools 12.4
Hi Everyone, I have just purchased Nano Control Studio, and it works just fine with my Pro Tools 12.4 (Mac Users).
Unfortunately I am not able to set up different scenes with the software nanokontrol editor on my controller. I am trying to create another scene, or amend the user one changing some CC so I can use my expression when I am recording. I have tried with the software saving the data and sharing with my NanoKontrol studio, but it doesn't work. Can you please advice ? Thank you very much Alberto
Hello! Is it possible to connect fully nanoKontrol studio to UAD Console?
I would like to see if there is the possibility of using from scene 2 onwards. the product does not allow me to change scenes manually. I am using Pro Tools, and I have the same problem as Alberto.
How many banks of controls are available per scene? thank you.
WHEN USING THE NANOKONTROL STUDIO IN BLUETOOTH MODE WITH PRO TOOLS 12 ON MAC VENTURA...
