It’s mid November and still no update in sight. Why exactly did I give you money for the MicroKey Air? So that it can continue to collect dust because it’s unusable with iOS 13? Fudge this. I know you don’t care, but this was my last piece of hardware I purchased from Korg. It’s a pity, I liked my Triton and my M3, but this is simply not the standard, I want to surround myself with. Life is too short to wait for a company getting its shit together.

Finally the update came out and I was able to update my microKEY Air firmware for iOS 13!!
It is worth noting that when plugging the microKey to PC / Mac should be pressed the buttons in the manual, only then will enter the update mode!!

    @Tiago:
What OS are you on and what MicroKey Air do you have?
I am running a Macbook Pro on MacOS 10.15.1 and try to update my MicroKey Air 25 and nothing really happends. I followed the instructions as outlined in the PDF and the Keyboard is not recognised by the updater. It's recognised by the Mac (shown in System Information) and it's working fine with and without Bluetooth on the Mac. I did SMC/NVRAM reset and I'm running out of ideas. 😜🔫

My controller is a microKEY Air 61, I upgraded using a Macbook Air with MacOS 10.14 (Mojave).
At first I could not put the controller in update mode, until I disconnected the keyboard from the macbook, kept pressing the first key on the left and the octave down button while I plugged the cable into the macbook, so the update program recognized the keyboard , then the two octave buttons were linked together.
    I hope this helps you.

This website is named support for korg users.
I do not receive any attention by KORG relating issues that I'm stepping by related to Microkey2 Air edition.
Maybe it's by the size of the equipment.
Since 80's and 90's i saw KORG as a main synthesizer.
The users are important to the company, i think.

    Hi there!
with the update of windows 🪟 installer , I COULD UPDATE at last the little KOR🎛G firmware. Now it's working well. Done. ✅

    @Ben Cristina:
Have you solved the problem? I have MacBook Pro 2019 and macOS 10.15.7 Catalina. And when I follow the instructions the microKEY 25 Air Updater 1.04 doesn't see my microKey2 49 air in any of the update modes of it. I am pissed, can't find a solution to update and these branches of talks here seem to be dead actually and without any of KORG attention.

I can't get my MicroKey Air into update mode on any windows machine. Win 10 or 7. Pressing the oct down button and connecting USB doesn't work and the updater doesn't recognize the device. I've wasted too much time on this and this is now trash if anyone wants one for free - I would not recommend it.

John i think you have to press together the [OCTAVE DOWN] button
and keyboard’s leftmost key while connecting the controller to your computer’s USB port.
    which is C key.
I did these and the program recognize my keyboard but when a press the butonn nothing hapens. An now the keyboard is not working any more.

Hi there 👋 HAGAI HALBERTAL, how're you doing?
What OS are you using to perform the firmware update?
I try about a year and a half ago.
But as iPad OS 13 above versions, don't work anyway.
After that period of 1y1/2, KORG SUPPORT release another update version od installer.
Using a windows x platform, the update wrks.
Ask me for more info about update a microkey air little KORG BLE wireless keyboard

    Thanks KORG for the attention.

Hi. Thanks for the comment. I saw the video. From him I started looking .. I have a new iPad 2021 and did not find an upgrade or change that matches the Bluetooth for the iPad. I saw mac upgrades that are not compatible with the iPad .. I tried ... and there is a panel in the video that shows something loaded, and did not exist in any situation I tried. Is there a relevant idea or link for a new iPad? Thanks!

    ok.
The link for bluetooth and BLE midi is made by BLE-midi app, not by iPadOs itself.
but agter os12 you need to perform a firmware update of controller from KORG.
GO TO this address and follow instructions: https://www.korg.com/us/products/computergear/microkey2_air/
    thanks 🙏

MicroKey Air 25 is not recognized on IOS15. I tried to update firmware under Windows 10 but after driver installation (the latest) the Korg updater software don't find any devide ("Update device is not found"). So, I must update firmware but the Korg's software to update firmware it doesn't work. I have tried different USB cables.
I can't waste my time with this. I've already lost a morning. I'm going to look for a keyboard from any other brand than Korg. Thanks a lot. What a shame!

I have a MICROKEY2-25AIR with a 2021 M1 MacBook Pro (16 inch) running 12.2.1 OS (Monterey). Attempted several times to connect via Korg's app "Bluetooth MIDI Connect" and also via MIDI Set Up (using the instructions on your website) unsuccessfully. Even though both apps can "see" the MicroKey2-25 Air, when I press 'Connect", it just won't connect or pair.

The keyboard works with my old 2011 MacBook Pro (I7) running Mojave. It just won't connect with my 2021 M1 MacBook Pro (16 inch) running 12.2.1 OS (Monterey).

Please advise what to do. Will were be any more updates for the MICROKEY2-25AIR? IS there any support for the MICROKEY2-25AIR re: bluetooth with 2021 M1 MacBook Pro (16 inch) running 12.2.1 OS (Monterey)? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Best Regards,

p.s. And yes, I've tried this several times. It simply doesn't work: https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/articles/207476226-I-can-t-connect-the-microKEY-Air-even-though-it-appears-on-the-Bluetooth-MIDI-list-on-my-Mac-

p.p.s. I travel with my MICROKEY2-25AIR on quite a lot and I truly would love to keep using it with my new M1 MacBook Pro. I need to either way if Korg has stopped supporting this great little keyboard for us M1 MacBook Pro users. Any response would be much appreciate from the Korg team.

    Respectfully,

    TS
