I recently purchased a 6th generation ipad with iOS 13, but unfortunately my Korg MicroKEY Air 61 does not connect to bluetooth.
I feel very harmed by it !!
It’s mid November and still no update in sight. Why exactly did I give you money for the MicroKey Air? So that it can continue to collect dust because it’s unusable with iOS 13? Fudge this. I know you don’t care, but this was my last piece of hardware I purchased from Korg. It’s a pity, I liked my Triton and my M3, but this is simply not the standard, I want to surround myself with. Life is too short to wait for a company getting its shit together.
Principios de diciembre y no se vé para cuando se actualizará el software para controlarlo vía bluetooth. Espero resuelvan pronto ya que llevo tres meses sin usar mi teclado.
Finally the update came out and I was able to update my microKEY Air firmware for iOS 13!!
It is worth noting that when plugging the microKey to PC / Mac should be pressed the buttons in the manual, only then will enter the update mode!!
@Tiago:
What OS are you on and what MicroKey Air do you have?
I am running a Macbook Pro on MacOS 10.15.1 and try to update my MicroKey Air 25 and nothing really happends. I followed the instructions as outlined in the PDF and the Keyboard is not recognised by the updater. It's recognised by the Mac (shown in System Information) and it's working fine with and without Bluetooth on the Mac. I did SMC/NVRAM reset and I'm running out of ideas. 😜🔫
@Ben Cristina
My controller is a microKEY Air 61, I upgraded using a Macbook Air with MacOS 10.14 (Mojave).
At first I could not put the controller in update mode, until I disconnected the keyboard from the macbook, kept pressing the first key on the left and the octave down button while I plugged the cable into the macbook, so the update program recognized the keyboard , then the two octave buttons were linked together.
I hope this helps you.
Hi there.
I've try to connect the korg microkey2 air 25 to an iPad running iPados 14.1.
it appears at BLE MIDI app but when i push connect nothing happens, continously running connecting and nothing else.
i try to update with korg updater, 1.04v but doesn't happen with update mode activated.
Please help.
This website is named support for korg users.
I do not receive any attention by KORG relating issues that I'm stepping by related to Microkey2 Air edition.
Maybe it's by the size of the equipment.
Since 80's and 90's i saw KORG as a main synthesizer.
The users are important to the company, i think.
@Ben Cristina:
Have you solved the problem? I have MacBook Pro 2019 and macOS 10.15.7 Catalina. And when I follow the instructions the microKEY 25 Air Updater 1.04 doesn't see my microKey2 49 air in any of the update modes of it. I am pissed, can't find a solution to update and these branches of talks here seem to be dead actually and without any of KORG attention.
