- [Enhancement] A new Resonance function has been added to the FILTER module on the Patch Edit page. To access this new feature, a "Mode" parameter has been added to the FILTER module. When the RESONANCE mode is selected, the Exciter parameter changes to Resonance, and the following three Macros will be available in the FILTER module:

- [Enhancement] 50 new Performances, 35 new Patches, and 32 new Wave Sequences are added to take advantage of this new resonant filter. The new sounds are located in a new, additional bank.
- [Enhancement] You can now LOAD and SAVE all the data of a particular Bank (Performances, Patches and Wave Sequences). When the FILE button is clicked, the LOAD and SAVE buttons are displayed. If you would like to load a file, click the LOAD button and select the destination RAM. If you would like to save a file, click the SAVE button and select the RAM that you would like to save.
- [Bug fix] The Voices parameter on the Global page was not saved in the .fxb file. This has been fixed.
- [Bug fix] If you launched multiple plug-in instances of the WAVESTATION and then closed one (or more) WAVESTATION, the remaining WAVESTATIONs that were still open may not have worked properly. This has been fixed.

Owner's Manual Addendum
- New preset sounds from six popular PCM+Program expansion cards are integrated. This adds over 250 Performances, 250 Patches, 150 Wave Sequences and 250 Waveforms. The newly included cards are shown below;

- RTAS plug-in instrument format is supported. This means the WAVESTATION can be run within ProTools and ProTools Le software without the use of any "wrapper" software.
- You can select a maximum number of voices from 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 and 256, depending on your computer's performance.
- Writing a Performance will reset the VECTOR POSITION to the center position.
- You can now select a Patch while on the PatchEdit page, or select a Wavesequence while on the WaveSeq page.
- The settings on the GLOBAL page will be saved with the bank data. If you want to make your current settings the default, name it "WAVESTATION.fxb", and overwrite the configuration file with this file (be sure to make a back-up of the original file before doing this!). For the Mac (both stand-alone and plug-in versions) it is in the "KORG" folder found in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST folder.
