Version 1.1.3
- The keyboard commands for cut, copy, paste, and delete of Motion Sequence Steps previously worked only in the standalone application; they now also work when running as a plug-in. In some hosts, additional settings may be required; for example, in Reaper, you may need to right-click on the plug-in and choose the option to "Send all keyboard input to plugin."
- Previously, using X-mod with Waveshaper Osc could cause voices to go silent, especially when playing high frequencies. This has now been fixed.
Version 1.1.2
- As a side effect of the improved CPU efficiency in version 1.1.0, Motion Sequence "Sync Notes" could get out of sync in some situations. This has now been fixed.
- Previously, Motion Sequence Lane Random Order could stop producing random results after many voices were played. This has now been fixed.
Version 1.1.1
- When a single Performance is selected in the Librarian, a new contextual menu item is available: Add To Set List. This has the same functionality as the similar command in the Performance Selector at the top of the window. Note that this command will not appear if more than one Performance is selected.
- Previously, in the Mod List, if filtering scopes (e.g. Mod Knobs) were hidden because they matched no items, subsequent filter buttons might not have worked properly. This has now been fixed.
- Previously, the Preferences and Settings files were stored in two different folders. This has now been fixed. Additionally, if a Preferences file exists in the old location, it is automatically moved to the same folder as the Settings file.
- Previously, the standalone application would hang at startup if the buffer size was set to 16 samples. This has now been fixed.
- Previously, newly created Set Lists or newly imported data might not have been visible immediately, depending on the Librarian's filter settings. Now, creating a new Set List or importing data automatically clears those filter settings.
- Selecting a performance from the Librarian window now also sets the Performance Selector to use the Librarian's search and filter criteria.
- Previously, in the Modulation List, if the list of filter criteria under "Show In Mod List" was particularly long, the last filter criteria button might not be shown. This has now been fixed.
- The Librarian list view now selects new or updated items after import, and deselects all items on undo.
- Import is now supported in demo mode.
- Added new contextual menu commands to the Performance Selector at the top left of the window: "Select in Librarian," and "Export…," and "Add To Set List…" "Select In Librarian" switches to the Librarian page with the current Performance selected. "Export" does the same, and then brings up the dialog to export the Performance to disk. "Add To Set List…" brings up a dialog allowing the user to add the Performance to any slot in the Active Set List; the slot defaults to the first Init Performance, if present, or otherwise to slot A1.
- Improved the logic for item selection when updating metadata. Selection is now preserved if you edit text and press Enter. Selection is also now preserved after editing metadata when the list is sorted by modification date.
- Previously, immediately after startup, keyboard commands would not work until the user clicked in the main window area. This has now been fixed.
- In Set Lists, the background color of the name text editor is now the same as that of the set list slots.
- Previously, for numeric editing fields, the text flashed briefly when clicking inc/dec. This has now been fixed. Also, the inc/dec buttons are now slightly larger.
- In the motion sequence step inspector, the dot indicating the modulated value is now displayed.
- The QWERTY arrow keys now control inc/dec when a numeric field is selected.
- Previously, on some systems, the factory data download could potentially fail. This has now been fixed.
- The factory data download screen now also includes a check for available software updates.
- Implemented a new collation algorithm for release-complete voices, for improved CPU efficiency under some conditions.
Version 1.0.5
- Window Size settings now affect combo-boxes, menus, and Set List windows.
- In the Librarian window and Selector dialogs, in the Filters section on the left, the list of Categories now hides unused Categories. Additionally, the correct categories are now shown for the different Sequence Lane types.
- In the standalone software's Audio/MIDI Settings dialog, the height of the MIDI device selector is now improved.
- Windows only: Improved high-dpi support on Windows. Previously, contextual menus, alert messages. and Set List windows could appear too small.
- Windows only: closing a specific Set List window may also close other set list windows.
Version 1.0.4
- Improved workflow for initial installation of sound data; the user only needs to select a destination folder if installing to a non-default location.
- Previously, when the Master lane was reset, if a Lane's last Step was a rest, the first Step would also incorrectly act as a rest. This has now been fixed.
- Previously, if the user edited a Set List, closed the Set List window, and then used Undo, a crash could occur. This has now been fixed.
- Previously, when re-using a voice from a virtual voice card, if the Amp Envelope was set to the minimum attack time of 1 ms it would instead open even faster, in 0.3 ms, which could cause a sharp clicking sound. (This effect was masked if the Envelope Delay Time was non-zero.) This has now been fixed.
- Previously, the bottom status bar was too dark when a dialog was opened, making help hard to read. This has now been fixed.
- Previously, the Export progress bar might not have closed properly. This has now been fixed.
- Windows only: previously, dialog boxes might have overlapped. This has now been fixed.
Version 1.0.3
- Version 1.0.2 introduced a degrade in which turning knobs with the mouse while playing notes could cause CPU overs. This has now been fixed.
- "Enter chord from MIDI" now turns off automatically when Chord or the Layer are turned off, when the Performance or Program are changed, when the UI is closed or switched away from the Setup & Chord page, or after a 1 minute timeout.
- Previously, the envelope graphics always displayed curvature based on the Custom settings, ignoring Presets. This has now been fixed.
- The About box colors now provide improved contrast.
- Windows only: previously, when a Waveshaper Oscillator was set to the "Berkeley" shape and Gain was set to maximum, the synth would go silent. This has now been fixed.
Version 1.0.2
- Added more right-click targets for copy/paste, including the Sequencer title in the menu bar and the Kaoss Physics and Arpeggiator section titles on their edit page.
- "Enter chord from MIDI" now turns off automatically when Chord is turned off.
- Previously, Oscillator 4's wavetable mesh was drawn incorrectly when X-Mod was enabled in Double mode. This has now been fixed.
- The Sync To Host button now clearly displays the on/off state.
- Previously, when Sync To Host was enabled on, changing Performances could re-enable local tempo. This has now been fixed.
- Previously, closing the UI while playing notes could cause a crash. This has now been fixed.
- Made minor cosmetic improvements.
