Due to included new gadgets and functions, project files that were made with KORG Gadget 2 are not data compatible with KORG Gadget 1. This would be an issue for the users having Gadget for iOS and Gadget for Mac (version 1.X) because iOS might automatically update the app to the latest so it would be hard to stay on version 1.X for iOS.
KORG Gadget 2 does have an export menu called Gadget V1 Project, with which you can continue to make beats with KORG Gadget 2 for iOS as well as KORG Gadget 1 for Mac.
That menu is available from File > Export > Gadget V1 Project.
