Cannot Connect to Online Multiplayer, Disconnects During Play

Check Your Internet Connection

For online multiplayer, you need to have completed the internet connection setup for your Nintendo Switch.

Check if the Nintendo Switch Network Service is Down Due to Maintenance or Technical Issues

If the Nintendo Switch network service is down due to maintenance or technical issues, you will not be able to connect to online multiplayer.

Try Connecting Again at a Later Time

If your internet connection is experiencing heavy traffic or if the Nintendo Switch network service servers are congested, you may experience disconnects or have trouble connecting. In this case, please try connecting again at a later time.
