Digital Performer 11.32 made a change which causes UI problems in multiple KORG plug-ins if their window is opened on a non-realtime track (for example, an instrument track which is not record-enabled). Symptoms include lack of meter activity and numeric values not updating. MOTU is aware of this issue, and we're confident that they will address it soon. In the meantime, using the option to "Run Open Instances of this Plug-in in Real Time" solves the problem, and is also recommended in general:
- Open the plug-in window for the KORG plug-in.
- Click on DP's mini-menu in the upper right corner of the plug-in window, just above the automation menu.
- Select the option "Run Open Instances of this Plug-in in Real Time."
Now, when that plug-in's window is open, the user interface will respond smoothly. You only need to make this setting once per plug-in (e.g. modwave native or ARP 2600); it then applies to any other instance of that plug-in.
