How to use Keystage with wavestate / opsix / modwave module (MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange)

◾️Operating requirements

To use your Keystage with on of the products listed below, please update your Keystage and the target product to the latest version.

・wavestate module / mkII / SE
・opsix module / mkII / SE
・modwave module / mkII

 

◾️How to use

1. Connect Keystage to wavestate module with a MIDI cable.

2. Start wavestate module and, start Keystage.

・Automatically connected with Property Exchange.
・Do not operate during system startup.
・Do not unplug the MIDI cable during operation.

If the connection with MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange is successful, Keystage displays wavestate module program name and parameter names, and you can control the wavestate module parameters with Keystage controllers.

 

The following functions are assigned to Keystage controllers.

Keystage wavestate module / mkII / SE
VALUE up/down Button Increment through performances in the Set List
VALUE Encoder Increment through performances in the Set List
Knob Performance parameters, Layer A-D parameters
Page-+ Button Switches the parameters displayed on the knob display

 

◾️ opsix module / mkII / SE

Keystage opsix module / mkII / SE
VALUE up/down Button Program up / down
VALUE Encoder Program up / down
Knob OP1 ~ OP6 Level, Attack, Decay
OP1 ~ OP6 Ratio, Cutoff, Resonance
Algorithm, FX1 ~ FX3 Depth, Glide Mode, Glide Time
Page-+ Button Switches the parameters displayed on the knob display

 

When connecting with MIDI2.0 Property Exchange, please set MIDI Clock to “Internal”.
