Open "System Preferences" window and select "Bluetooth".
If the microKEY Air is on the "Device" list, delete it from the list.
Then try connecting the Bluetooth MIDI again.
I can't connect the microKEY Air even though it appears on the Bluetooth MIDI list on my Mac.

My Microkey2 Air works fine using bluetooth connection on other DAWs such as Reason and Cubase, but it goes disconnected when Logic Pro X is running. In the Bluetooth MIDI Connect app, it shows "microKEY2-49 Air (offline)" ,and "connect" button disappears ,while the blue LED of the MIDI keyboard is still on. Basically I can't use bluetooth connection of my microkey when I'm using Logic Pro X.
It goes disconnected immediately when I open Logic, and it connects and gets disconnected immediately if I try to connect it when Logic is running.
Connection with cable works fine. Only problem is bluetooth connection with this particular DAW Logic.
My OS is High Sierra. And I tried on another brand new Macbook Pro in Mojave Os, same problem
I just figured this out! I had the same issue with the M-Audio USB plugin when I tried to connect my Teenage Engineering OP-Z to my Mac via MIDI over Bluetooth.
To get to the plugin, press command-shift-G, which will open a "Go to the folder:" prompt. Type / in the input field. Then, you can follow the file path from "Library" to "Audio" to "MIDI Drivers," and then you'll see the plugin. Drag it to the Trash and empty your Trash. I restarted my Mac after doing that, and now I'm able to connect my OP-Z via MIDI over Bluetooth. Hope this helps!

I have this exact problem and how can i solve it?
Not sure if anyone worked this out but.. I found that you need to go to Setup -> Preferences -> Midi tab. Then set the default through device to your keyboard and on which ever channel you prefer, (I selected 1)... and it worked! this is on a Mac with Mojave, PT2019 and a Korg Microkey37... WOOT!!
