How do I use the vocoder in my DAW?

You need to input an audio signal to the microKORG plug-in.
Please refer to the following instructions, as the use of vocoders varies depending on the DAW you are using.


 

Logic Pro

  1. Display the microKORG window.
  2. Select "Sidechain" at the top of the window. 
  3. Select the track from which you want to receive audio to and you are done.

Cubase Pro

  1. Insert microKORG as FX.
  2. Select the microKORG on the FX track from "Sends" on the audio track.
  3. Turn on the Send switch to complete the setup.

Ableton Live

  1. Insert the microKORG into the track.
  2. Select Sidechain from the rack at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select the track from which you want to receive audio.

Bitwig Studio

  1. Insert the microKORG into the track.
  2. Select the track to which you want to input audio.
  3. Change the output of the audio track to the microKORG to complete the setup.

ProTools 2022

  1. Insert the microKORG into the track.
  2. Send the track you want to input audio to to the desired bus.
  3. Set the microKORG's track settings to the above bus.

Reaper

  1. Insert the microKORG into the track.
  2. Set the routing of the track you want to receive audio from.
  3. Select microKORG in routing to complete the setup.
