Yes, in case when the Mac is Bluetooth 4.0 compatible, and the OS is Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and later, it can be connected without installing an additional driver.
I have Bluetooth 4.0 and the OS is 10.11. When I'm in the MIDI Studio (as suggested in the owner's manual) I double click on the bluetooth icon to open the configuration. I see the my MicroKEY2-49 Air, but when I click the connect button, after few seconds the connect button reappears and nothing happened. The blue LED on the Microkey is still blinking and still not connected to my mac.

What should I do?
Same problem a year later. Any solution?
