The MAIN Panel is where you can actually write, edit, and record data into each Pattern. Each Pattern can be up to 64 steps in length, and all parts—SYN1, SYN2, VOICE, and DRUM—can be used simultaneously inside each pattern.
To access the PATTERN Edit Panels, select a Pattern and tap on a sequence in the main panel. Alternatively, you can press the SYN1, SYN2, VOICE, or DRUM button twice to access the PATTERN Edit Panels. In addition to editing the individual Note events, you can also change the Gate Time, Level, and Pan of each event.
The first Pattern Edit screen is the NOTE display.
- The pitches of the scale are shown. Pressing the keyboard will play the pitches.
- Tap on the grid to step-record sequence data
- Use this button to toggle through the Sequencer NOTE GATE VOL PAN displays.
- Pressing this button will clear the edited sequence data.
Tips : Two-fingered scrolling lets you move more slowly than conventional scrolling.
Press the NOTE button to advance to the Pattern Edit Gate display.
Here you can change the Gate Time for each event, from Legato (full) to staccato (25%).
Use The GATE button to toggle through the Sequencer GATE VOL PAN NOTE displays.
Pressing the CLEAR button will delete the edited sequence data.
Press the GATE button to advance to the Pattern Edit Volume display.
Here you can change the velocity level, or volume information for each event.
Use The GATE button to toggle through the Sequencer VOL PAN NOTE GATE displays.
Pressing the CLEAR button will delete the edited sequence data.
Press the VOL button to advance to the Pattern Edit Pan display.
Here you can change the Pan information (Left/Right positioning) for each event
Use The PAN button to toggle through the Sequencer PAN NOTE GATE VOL displays.
Pressing the CLEAR button will delete the edited sequence data.
