Gadget editor consists of the piano roll, audio editor, and gadget editor panels.
You may edit the gadget’s performance or tone, edit the tone of the song and recorded data, and edit audio data.
Piano roll / audio editor
Displays the notes recorded on the clips of each track or the waveform of the recorded audio. Clicking in the grid view will allow you to manually enter note data. You can also record in real time by arming the track. This view also allows you to edit after the data has been recorded.
Bar
Set the number of bars in the clip.
Loop/1-Shot
Set the playback method of the clip.
Quantize
Set the quantization when recording in real time.
Mute
Mutes the track.
Grid
Set the quantizing resolution. You can also change the grid on the screen to fit the settings.
1. Draw/Select button
Change the function of the mouse. Draw mode allows you to draw notes on the grid with your mouse, while select mode allows you to select notes that are already in place.
2. Locator
Shows the current location in the clip. If there are multiple bars in a clip, you can tap on an off-screen (non-highlighted) bar to see its contents.
Also, by using the marker displayed below the bar display, you can loop any part of the clip
3. Note / waveform view
Displays notes recorded on the clip and the audio waveform. The velocity value is shown by the brighter color’s height within the note.
4. Scale/Import button
Turn the synthesizer gadget’s scale on / off for the piano roll. For audio gadgets, it becomes an audio import button.
5. Parameter display
Displays parameter values from the gadget and IFX on the track. Clicking below the piano roll will bring up and expand the display area, where you can the parameter values over the course of the clip.
Gadget panel
You can edit the gadget tone parameters and effects.If you have a keyboard or pad connected, you can play the gadget with them.

2. Scale button
In synthesizer gadgets, you can control the scale and arpeggiator settings.
Chord
Turn chord trigger on / off.
Scale Type
Set the scale for the keyboard.
Key
Set the root key for the scale.
Oct Pos
Set the position of the octave to be displayed on the gadget.
Oct
Set the octave number to be displayed on the gadget.
Scale Step
Set the number of notes to be played within 1 octave.
Arp
Turn arpeggiator on / off.
Type
Set the arpeggiator type.
Gate Type
Set the arpeggiator gate type.
Gate Time
Set the arpeggiator gate time.
Octave Range
Set the octave range for the arpeggiator.
3. Octave button
Set the octave to be played on the keyboard.
4. Keyboard / pad
Perform on the gadget. On synthesizer gadgets, you can play the scale by clicking on the keyboard. The scale can be set by tapping on the scale button. In drum machine and sampler gadgets, you can click on the pad.
Tips You can assign MIDI CC# (MIDI Control Change Message) to knobs and sliders in each gadget. You may control the gadget with an external MIDI controller connected to your Mac.
