After the initial software installation, wavestate native downloads the factory sound database and factory Multisamples. On Windows, security or anti-virus software may interfere with this download. If you encounter any difficulties, please first temporarily disable security or anti-virus software, and try again.
If the problem persists, you can manually download and install the database and Multisamples. To do so:
- Close wavestate native, if it is running.
- Download the wavestate native factory database and Multisamples using the link below. The file is about 2 GB.
download wavestate native factory database and Multisamples - Un-zip the downloaded file.
- Move the resulting folder, named "System," to a suitable location on your system (using an SSD is strongly recommended). It can be saved anywhere, but as defaults we recommend:
macOS: /Users/Shared/KORG/wavestate native/System
Windows: \Users\Public\Public Documents\KORG\wavestate native\System - Run wavestate native. At startup, the software will ask for the location of the sounds; select the location from (4).
